On 19 October 2026, Combiconnect Barcelona inaugurated its new intermodal terminal in La Llagosta, strengthening the connection between the Iberian Peninsula and Europe’s rail freight network.

The project, involving ADIF, HUPAC and TPNOVA, provides new capacity for international freight transport and reinforces Barcelona’s position as a strategic logistics hub.
