Packaging Talks 2026

12 June, 2026

Throughout the event, industry professionals and business leaders explored some of the key challenges shaping the future of the #packaging sector, including innovation, the application of artificial intelligence in manufacturing, digitalisation, traceability, sustainability, regulatory compliance (#PPWR), and the impact of geopolitics on global supply chains.

The event provided an excellent opportunity to exchange insights and discuss the regulatory developments that are transforming the industry, particularly in relation to the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), the Digital Product Passport, and the new traceability requirements.

We would like to thank the Packaging Cluster, Àlex Brossa Enrique and the entire organising team for hosting such a leading industry event and for creating a valuable forum for knowledge sharing among companies and experts.

Among the many inspiring presentations, we particularly appreciated the contributions of Héctor Sánchez Margalef, for his analysis of geopolitics and its impact on today’s industrial challenges; Isidre Argerich, for sharing bonÀrea Agrupa’s experience with recyclable packaging and traceability, including the use of QR codes to identify points of sale; David Vives Colilles, for demonstrating how digitalisation can transform packaging through reusable traceability solutions; Mireia Garcia Rocaí, for explaining how innovation can be successfully driven from within organisations; and Enric Barba, for sharing his extensive expertise on innovation, technology and business management.

At DAUSS Abogados, we will continue to closely monitor both these initiatives and the evolving regulatory framework shaping the future of the packaging sector, reaffirming our commitment to and expertise in packaging and packaging waste law.
